The Great OBrien Toy Soldiers Reference Guide

Created: 06/02/07
This reference guide is a must for any toy soldier collector. Not only the item prices are listed, but there is an history of the company that made the toy. Also included are small vehicles, both lead and plastic. There are thousands of toy soldiers, original box sets and accessories pictured. Featured are 88 different brands of small toys.
The black and white pictures make it sometime difficult to see the item clearly, but they still give you a good idea of what it should look like.
This book is referenced in many listings and is an excellent guide for any toy collector.

The WORD

Created: 25/07/06
I bought this book from the author himself. It is truly a labor of love. thousands of metal, composition and plastic 'armymen' and not a few civilian, space and ancient-era figures 'Made in USA' are featured in hundreds of pictures on hundreds of pages. There is no other book like it. Use it as a starting point when valuing your figures to sell at auction, and you will not go wrong.
Remember, seeming glaring omissions of figutr=res by companies like Processed plastic, aka TIM MEE Toy, may be indicaztive of the ubiquitous nature of some armymen, made in the millions over many years.
