Good Book, very informative to new collectors, but mostly for people who don't know much about Case knives already...

If you are looking for just a price guide, this probably wouldn't be the book for you..

Steve's book is a well-written, pattern-by-pattern guide for the new collector as well as the seasoned pro. The well-illustrated book offers guidance and insight that often gets lost in text alone. It's indispensable and a must have for the Case knife nut! It sits right next to my keyboard as I'm cruising eBay looking at knives.

The pictures are great. The info about Case Tang markings is invaluable. The listing of Case Knives by number with descriptive info is second to none. The price guide info helps to evaluate your collection and judge future purchases. Highly recommended for the new as well as seasoned collector

This book is very informative and gives a thourough history of the Case company as well as the values of most all of their older knives. The pictures in this book are of exceptional quality and overall this is a great book to have for anyone who is interested in Case Knives or knive collecting in general.

The book is laid out very nice, good reference material as well as product values. I find the prices on case knives to be a little higher then other publications, but in as much as the W. R. Case Company allowed the author historical Company information, it's understandable.
