    This movie is about two women fighting for what they believe in. Linda Hamilton and Lynn Whitfield star in this film. This movie is based on a true story. Anna Spies (Linda Hamilton) welcomes Minnie McGee and her family into the community when they move next door to Anna Spies and her family. Anna becomes friends with Minnie McGee (Lynn Whitfield). Their friendships gets tested though when Anna Spie's husband, who is pressued from the community, attempts to evict the McGees because of their skin color. Anna and Minnie fight for their friendship and fight against discrimination in this powerful film.

    It was a true story taking place in Detroit in the 1950's. The friendship between two neighbors, one black and one white. Inspirational story and a good one for teaching the Civil Rights Movement.

    I love this movie because Linda Hamilton is in it. She is my favorite actress. The story in the movie is so touching. I love watching true stories. I decided to buy this movie because I love Linda Hamilton and I like to have all her movies in my collection.
