Better off getting free eBooks online instead...

Created: 03/08/06
This book is very basic, and very old and outdated, it may be somewhat useful for beginners who want to know something about lock picking, but personally, but experience, it is merrily impossible to learn something technical by means of reading. It is like trying to teach ball room dancing in a book, the ligaments, weight of each side of the feet, etc. You see where I'm going, you are better off, looking at an experienced lock picker, and then reading the book, then you may learn something out of it.

Great book- recommended

Created: 29/03/08
These reviews are way off. Though the book is 25 years old, locks have not changed since then. They still work the same way and can be picked the same way, so the information in the book is not dated. It is as useful today as it was then and will be as long as locks have tumblers. If you follow the directions as explained in this book, you will be able to open any standard lock, including anything made today.

Better Know How To Pick First!

Created: 05/07/06
This book does a great job of telling you about locks, and gives some basic advice on how to pick locks, however the book is extreamly dated, and the only real lesson it gives you on how to pick is to not give up. Its a decent enough book, but from all the talk I heard about it I honestly thought it would give a biginner like me a little more insite on how to pick locks.
