Movie synopsis
Nothing makes good-guy non-recidivist offender Cameron Poe happier than the thought of returning to society, where his angelic wife and the equally angelic little girl he's never known are waiting. And nothing makes him angrier than the passel of psychopathic murderers and rapists aboard his prison transport plane--especially when, under the direction of ringleader Cyrus "The Virus" Grissom, they revolt and hijack their own plane. Fortunately, our hero's been trained by the Army as an elite one-man-fighting-machine, and a dogged Justice Department agent waits on the ground to help him bring the fanatical fly-boys in for a bloody crash landing--in Vegas! A hyperactive Molotov cocktail blended from the frenetic efforts of high-octane action producer Jerry Bruckheimer ("The Rock"), hipster-schtick screenwriting specialist Scott Rosenberg, and music video director West. Academy Award Nominations: 2, including Best Original Song ("How Do I Live"), and Best Sound.

) This is one of my favorite action movies. The story is unique and full of adventure through out. The cast is amazing! Nicholas Cage was wonderful as the hero, with John Malchovich playing the villian in a stunning performance. Steve Buscuemi added the right amount of dark humor, and John Cusack was excellent and convincing in his role. I decided to buy it because although I had a copy on VHS cassette, my husband did not have a DVD copy of this movie for his collection. We've watched this movie several times without getting bored. I recommend it, definitely for Nicholas Cage fans.

"Con Air" is a movie that doesn't take itself seriously, and you shouldn't, either. Yes, the movie is implausible and most of the actors are obviously laughing on the inside over their dialogue and motivations, but it's a big-budget action flick, so that's what makes it fun. It has some of the most quotable dialogue in recent memory and it's one of those movies you can watch over and over again just for kicks. Besides, who can resist a movie that has a minor plot point involving a stuffed bunny? This is a Bruckenheimer movie that is heavy on action and comedy, and light on plot & character development. Yes, most of the movie is absurd, but it is also absurd in a fun way.
This is a can't miss for anyone who wants to sit back & watch an hour & a half of hilarious mayhem. This is what I would call a guy movie

Con-Air: One Of The Greatest Action Movies Of Our Time

) Everything is great about this movie. The solid story line captivates you. The action scenes leave your adrenaline pumping. The roles played in this movie were great, the actors became their characters. This movie makes you want to reach in the television and strangle Cyrus "The Virus" Grissom and give Cameron Poe a pat on the back. This movie will captivate you from start to finish.

I like that around every corner there is some new angle of the movie, it keeps you guessing,right from the start it capture's your attention,it has a good cast of chactor's and actors.. It has comedy throughout the movie to keep it light but also drama to keep interested in what is going to happen next.. I bought the movie so I could watch any time I wanted to see a good movie..

) Action packed story. I think one of Cages' best. Don't mind watching once or twice yearly. Nothing I can think of for dislikes. A little research on ebay can find great deals, as this dvd was.
