Frazetta's Cona come to life!

This movie is a Conan Origin story, basically a younger agressive Conan, don't expect the Arnold Conan, but do expect the one You saw on every Iconic Frazetta Covers, the dark, brooding, agressive, agile, sword slashing Conan.
You can tell how great he is in the amazing fight scenes, NO SHAKEY CAM YES! I hate shakey cam shots ( Ninja Assassin, Resident Evil boo)
What you see on the cover is what you get. Even the actor playing the teenage Conan was raw and agressive,
Both Momoa and he did a great job selling it and that's what I wanted to see, Conan, not a long droning epic. This was Just what I remembered when reading the old black and white comics and I hear the American ones too which Momoa says he wanted to emulate in his performance, In the scene he is at the Jail he looks like a King even in chains, This Conan
isnt the lumbering sluggish brutish version Arnold played,
Hes the guy you dont wanna mess with who commands control.
The scar on Momoa's face is not make up btw. Check out the features of the DVD I demand a sequel since the movie is open ended and it should be Conan is not done yet. I won't put down Arnold's classic that stuck with all of us but this one is also good. This is not a good versus evil even if Conan turns out to have a heart but its more about revenge... and wenches! Hes sexist and blunt, direct, and VERY inteligent
the Conan in teh books could speak several languages and
was smart so this is what I wanted and got , a sweet Conan movie. And teh female lead she was great, she didnt hold the guy back, she was independant and beautiful, stilll damsel in distress sindrome but I liked this movie and will re watch it every christmas :D

I enjoyed this movie. Wasn't a deep meaningful story. Jason Momoa did a pretty good job as Conan. Especially in scenes where he showed the wildness of what a barbarian would actually be like. Pacing back and forth like a caged animal and his intent stares. Some great fight scenes. Was fun to watch and hope there is a sequel.

The man was really rude in email to me. I didn't quite understand the information , he was instructing me what to do to doownload the movie. He was very insulting, disrespecting as a person. Needless to say when I told ebay about the situation, they said that no one is suppose to sell digital movies off a site you have to download, so they took care off it. But I won't let this one bad purchase keep me from buying future purchases off ebay

First thing. The movie arrived sooner than expected. Thank you very much.

I'm a Howard fan and this conan was very convincing. Seeing him as a fearless youth with deadly fighting skills makes the adult barbarian more real.

While I enjoyed the Arnold versions of Conan, it is my opinion this movie is much more along the lines of the way Robert E. Howard portrayed the story in his books...

A very good movie, and one I'll watch again and again...
