Movie synopsis
Though Oscar winner Morgan Freeman is best known for playing noble characters in films such as MILLION DOLLAR BABY and THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, he goes over to the dark side for this thriller. John Cusack (1408) plays Ray Keene, a father who organizes a hiking trip so he can get closer to his son after his wife's passing. But their vacation is interrupted by the arrival of a brutal hit man (Freeman), who will do anything to collect his fee as a contract killer. THE CONTRACT reunites Freeman with his DRIVING MISS DAISY director Bruce Beresford, who also directed the tense film DOUBLE JEOPARDY.

Cusack did a great job on the other hand Freeman didn't have such a great role in this film (but he finished out 4****).
Landscapes & wilderness in film was in Colorado Great Rockies. 96 minutes, rated R, children 16 above, special features, documentary, photo gallery, closed captions.
This type film is a quick giveaway on synopsis so I'm going to say I recommend film for a weekend movie to watch. 4**** rate final rate. Interesting course on films plot, actors did a great job, however there was a few split moments where the film dragged a bit (7-9 minutes at a time).
Cusack did a great job on the other hand Freeman didn't have such a great role in this film (but he finished out 4****).

Morgan Freeman is evil but still sounds like God

Morgan Freeman could make the Phone Book sounds like Shakespeare. He elevates this run-of-the-mill action-thriller beyond its story. There are plot holes galore, but it's worth watching for Freeman's work, and the beautiful scenery.

) I really liked this movie. I have always admired Morgan Freeman as an actor and he doesn't disappoint in this movie. Would highly recommend to others; well worth the time to watch this great film!
