Product Information
In Cooking Mama: World Kitchen, Mama and friends have a whole new look given the game's upgrade to full 3D graphics. By utilizing the Wii Remote as a universal kitchen utensil, players can simulate actual cooking by chopping, grating, slicing, stirring and rolling their way through all new recipes that range from parfait to shrimp au gratin. Best of all, kitchen mistakes during meal preparation result in comedic mini-game surprises; for example, if you flip a burger too high, you can control Mama as she rushes in to save the day by catching it in her apron. Finally, a new game play mechanic integrates traditional Wii Remote utensil play with additional rhythm and motion that makes cooking easier and more enjoyable.

    pretty cool game

    Created: 11/04/09
I would recommend this game. It was one of the first games I bought for the Wii a couple of months ago and my daughters are still playing it and don't want to trade it in yet. I didnt like the short amount of time it gave you to do each step and the mini games are kind of annoying. Other than that, I think it's a good game to play.

Cooking Mama - NOT Worth the Money!

    Created: 11/11/09
I did NOT like this game, what a waste! It offered no instructions, so when the time comes on the screen to shake the remote around, there is a little arrow or something telling you what to do, but it is very unclear, and was extremely difficult to figure out what they want you to do. Very confusing, very stupid. A waste of a Wii game. I would not recommend it, waste of money! The voices are annoying too, it doesnt talk to you, just has shrieky one-line comments. Boring, dumb, stay away!

Very entertaining and enjoyable---my 6 and 10 year old daughters love the fact that they can "cook" and make different dishes

    I like the original

    Created: 13/05/09
I love cooking games but I am not crazy about this one. The original was a little annoying because of the *voice* of mama. This one has the same voice but changed the way you *cook* items which I found very confusing. So far out of all the cooking Mama games my favorite has been the original for DS. I have not played the multi-player mode. So I can't judge that but I probably never will because I really do not like the controls in this version.

My favorite cooking game so far is Order-up.
