I have not found a class to take, but want a general idea of how the process works. Just flipping through, I love the book... Large colorful pics and lots of "helpful tips." With my limited, "newbie" knowledge, I would reccommend this book.

I would like to agree with previous writers. The book has instructions for both beginners and advanced lampworking. It has very clear descriptions and illustrations. It is a good book for artist who is looking for new fresh ideas and technique. It consists with instruction for soft glass bead makers and also has some thing for borosilicate glass bead makers.
Book has very helpful suggestions about setting up your studio and basic kiln information. Do not forget to have a fun.

This is a great book for the beginner lampworking student. I have purchased other books and found that the beginning beads were too hard to creat sucessfully. I feel this book gives great tips and descriptions. I am happy with this purchase!
