Fun and intriguing!

Created: 01/08/07
With puzzle adventure games, 3-D graphics do not really always add to the game play, in fact they can be down right distracting and take away from the feel of the game by looking blocky, rigid and odd/artificial. So even though this game has relatively simple 2-D graphics, it is still highly playable. Furthermore, the locations are atmospheric, beautiful and full of detail.
So basically, as with all other puzzle adventures, you need to solve problems as you go along using items that you have find, not necessarily always using logic, but sometimes using imagination and creative skills too. The game is set in New York city but involves travelling to South America to ancient temples. The plot was quite good, a bit sci-fi, but it generally made sense. The game was engaging and found myself playing it every chance I go so that I could solve the mystery in the end. The puzzles were not very challenging, I would say about average difficulty.
This game does not contain mindless shooting/hitting/killing so if you like those kind of violent games this is definately not for you. If you are a bit of dreamer, enjoy problem solving, and would like to imagine that you're a detective solving a mystery involving lots of adventure and travel to exotic destinations then this game would be for you. Its certainly not the best puzzle adventure out there, but it is still really fun and worth playing.

just plain bad and unoriginal

Created: 05/01/07
I've been playing adventure games for years; I'm definitely patient with older technology. But this game stretched my patience beyond endurance. The storyline is ridiculous and the problems you have to solve are annoying and tedious--not at all engaging or thought-provoking. Dialogue is a mess--poor scripting, bad translation, generally awful voiceover work (except Erika), and bizarre presentation. Dialog is broken into pieces (even within sentences) and then is recorded in those pieces. Resulting in. Stilted dialogue that. Grates. A seemingly endless monologue in the middle of the game had me clawing the walls; around that time I realized that this game was too painful to play. Adventure gaming should not be a test of your tolerance of poor storylines and bad presentation. Please, love yourself enough to pass this one by.

Decent Game

Created: 16/02/07
This game is fairly decent. The plot itself leaves something to be desired. Some of the tasks are kind of off the wall, but in general it's pretty cool. It reminds me of the old PC games, but does have today's graphics. I did not have any trouble with video or the sound being choppy. However, the commands are somewhat trying. I would say overall this game rates a 4 out of 5.

Good!

Created: 08/04/06
Check out the Super Detail backgrounds truly Cinematic. the plot is good and the characters are great the enthusiasm is lacking from some of the voice overs but I can live with that, this brings back the good ole days of PC gaming with technology and graphics from today.
