Movie synopsis
Providing a refreshing twist on the conventions of reality TV, CRISS ANGEL MINDFREAK is an A&E show full of jaw-dropping surprises. Cameras follow Angel as he trains and then executes a series of amazing tricks, most of which leave bystanders and viewers at home scratching their heads in bemused wonder. Whether floating high above the Luxor casino's pyramid or escaping from jail in the nude, Criss seems to defy human logic--and he makes it clear that no camera trickery is involved in these feats. In the 20 episodes contained on this collection Criss demonstrates how the body and the mind are a lot more flexible than we might think, and provides some highly entertaining moments that easily achieve his goal of dragging magic out of the Dark Ages and into the 21st century. This third season features guest appearances by comedian Jamie Kennedy, magician Jeff McBride, and Public Enemy's Flavor Fav.

) Criss Angel is an illusionist and magician who makes the art current. This third season is fun and terrifying! My favorite episodes include "Animal 2" and "Steam Roller". There is something special in every episode. The bonus features are great to watch especially if you are a Loyal. There are no audio commentaries, but the featurettes make up for it. The cover art is exquisite...and so is Criss' hair this season.
I highly recommend this DVD set to any Loyal Criss fan, magic junkie, or anyone who wants something fun to watch. There is at least one episode that aired that is not on this DVD collection, but this DVD set still deserves 5 stars. I love it, and I think you will too.

I bought this set of Criss Angel DVD's for my 7 year old son after seeing a live Criss Angel show in Las Vegas. My boy (and my teenage daughter) are both fascinated with his magic, and perhaps him. I hadn't known anything about him prior to the show, but their interest sparked mine, and I'm not sure now who enjoys watching his "performances" more - me or the kids! The DVD's in this set are fast paced and exciting, and include some really fascinating tricks, such as the levitation in the beams of light above the Luxor. It also show a bit of footage from inside his home, and some baffling stunts done outside on the streets and shops of Las Vegas. The DVD's are long; we have one more to get through. I definately would recommend this series to any Criss Angel fan!

I decided to buy this DVD because my sone just absolutely loves anything that has to do with Cris Angel. Cris Angel continues to give us his AMAZING brand of magic in this third season of his hit television series, Mindfreak. In this season, we get to see Cris's Cirque de Sol performance which Cris is still doing in Las Vegas today. This set is a must have for any Cris Angel fan.

My daughter is a HUGE Criss Angel freak, so buying this was a no brainer. I do watch most of them with her, he IS Very Good at what he does. There are a few parts that I can't watch-creeps me out too bad, but if you are a fan of Criss' work then Season Three is a must see. Since it comes on A&E on a school night past my daughters bedtime we either have to wait to see a rerun of it or buy the season DVDs when they come out. There are multiple DVDs in each set, so it is a really good value.

) I bought these Criss Angel dvds because I watched a couple of his shows on television last season and found them fascinating. I wanted to go back and see them all from the beginning. The great thing was, that everyone from my teenage kids to my 87 year old mother enjoys watching these shows!
When company comes over it's what we do for entertainment also.
I have all of the dvds now and plan to watch his show on tv this season as well.
I like that he tells you it's just an illusion, but he is so skilled you find yourself thinking that it's real anyway. That is why they call it MINDFREAK I guess.
