) Crucial Conversations is an amazing book. Practical life solutions are given to walk through Problems. I ordered the book because I realize in our society today that people don't know how to handle conflict. Most people scream an yell, or say horrible things about their spouse or significant other and think this will solve their problems. It doesnt. This book handles this head-on an how to be successful in your business life an your personal life with appropriate conflict resolution strategies. Everyone needs to read this because it will change how you respond to people an how you succeed in everyday life.

A combination of stories , suggestions, answerers, and hands on work, makes this book a must read. The authors have compiled various ways to over come the situations many of us dread. This book won't solve your problems with hard to reach people people. The book does give great insight on , both your actions and reactions to difficult people.

Crucial Conversations is one of the best self help books I have ever read. The book is an eye opener to the games we all play when trying to communicate with each other. It describes communication tactics and pitfalls from all levels of life including professional to personal. I have always thought of myself as a great communicater until a superior at my company told me that I wasnt. Of course I was offended by this statement. He recommended I read Crucial Conversations and actually loaned me his copy. The book changed me life and I learned alot about myself that I actually didnt realize before. He was right. I have since bought 3 copies of the book. This book is an excellent buy for those who think they are great communicaters.

This was recommended by my physician and a a co-worker, so I thought it was worth reading. Wow, was glad I did. The principles that are presented are more than just common sense, they are remarkable things a person can do to turn those sticky situations into something good for all parties involved. Lots of practical help and supportive examples that anyone can relate to. If you have difficult people in your life, do yourself a favor and read this book.
