Cube (DVD, 2003, Signature Series)

I bought Cube a few days ago after renting it back in 1998. Cube is about six strangers trapped in a cubic prison with red, blue, yellow, green, orange, and white rooms where they try to work together to find a way out or die trying to avoid death traps in a near endless maze. Picture a giant size "Rubik's Cube" prison containing experimental mice people trying to solve the puzzle within. The signature series edition has a new director commentary, an interview with Nicole deBoer of Star Trek DS9, deleted scenes, artwork, set design, subtitles, and in widescreen format. I found this movie interesting, creatively original, and very cerebral. It's much different from any sci-fi/horror films I've seen recently. And a 'Like New' condition is worth getting for a good bargain price.

AWESOME movie. Very suspensful. I would recommend this movie to everyone who likes excitement in their movies. You will love this. This is about people abducted and put into this cube of mannnnny rooms. They push there way through to find a way to get out.

Personally i would say this movie made me think a lot. I couldn't really get most of what was going on but it turned out fine. It's like a movie where you have to wait till the end to find out what really happened. Weird but it's interesting watching the people survive and how they plan on doing it. Highly recommended to anyone who likes mystery.

Wow the cube is amazing when you think about a movie that was made in the 80s the grafics are incridble i would be a great movie to be remade in the theaters in 3d but if you like seeing people cut up in little pieces burnt and just plain mangled this is the movie for you.

This little-known sci-fi/horror film successfully kept me enthralled and surprised right up to the end. The effects are well-done and the plot concepts are just complex enough to be interesting without losing the audience. The acting is a little over-the-top and it could use a little polish but it's definitely worth a watch.
