This is a must have book for your Wiccan collection. This book describes various metals, gems, and crystals and their magical uses. I love this book. I refer to it frequently about the crystals within it. It comes in handy especially if you are not familiar enough with a crystal or metal or gem to know its magical use. The full color photos help to easily identify crystals.

Good basic book

This book was written some years ago, so doesn't contain some of the stones available today. It covers most of the stones you will come in contact with. I use it as a quick reference to look up healing uses of certain stones. It is great for that

This book is fantastic!! It is a great asset to every collector and lover of stones, gems and metals. I am a novice and found this book to be a wonderful educator. The author uses terms that are clear and easy to follow. It is very informative and descriptive. It has a broad range of information. It has some beautiful photos in the middle that are good for comparison to stones in my own collection. This is a perfect choice to collectors library.
