The Curve (DVD, 1999)

This was seriously more than likely a low budget film. The premise is a bunch of young adults in college are struggling, and each and every one of them is trying their hardest to maintain grades good enough to go to prestigious colleges or save their tuitions.

They learn about a school rule that allots a 4.0 grade point average for any roommate of yours that commits suicide. They claim it is so emotionally damaging the 4.0 is the least they can do, and no one, including future prospective colleges, is to find out about this.

So. Bodies start to pile up and they make it pretty clear who is doing it and why. Or do they? Or do they throw that bell curve way off?

This is a newer twist on an old rumor. A darker, creepier "Dead Man on Campus", based on the the old idea that if you're in college and your roomate commits suicide, you automatically receive A's for the semester. Which leads to old friends, making new plans, when there grades start declining and Harvard is on the line. This is a great story, well written, with a plot that just continues to thicken, not to mention an awesomely shocking ending. I advise it for anyone who likes suspense / thillers, definately 4 out of 5 stars in my book.

This is a great on your seat edge movie. I saw this movie years ago and always wanted to add it for viewing numerous times.

Nice twists. Good performances. Great looking actors! : ) This is a 'teen' flick that this parent even found entertaining.

I love this very much. The movie it self had a alot of thrilling but funny parts to it also. So all in all its worth watching.
