    Movie synopsis

    The durable mecha genre continues its prominence in the world of anime with the Cartoon Network's action television series D.I.C.E. Aimed at preteen boys, the anime follows the crime-fighting adventures of the eponymous intergalactic police squad (short for DNA INTEGRATED CYBERNETIC ENTERPRISES) as they solve cosmic dilemmas ranging from space pirates to runaway comets. The anime action centers on one specific D.I.C.E. unit, the teenaged F-99 Fortress, led by a fiery redhead named Jet and aided by the Dinobreakers, specialized vehicles that transform into large mechanical dinosaurs at the first sign of danger. Fun and kid-friendly, the anime series kicks off with this first five-episode volume.

    I loved watching D.I.C.E. back when I was a kid while it was still on television. I have not seen an episode of D.I.C.E. in a very long time. Upon watching this dvd I felt like I was watching those episodes for the very first time.
