Dance Dance Revolution Konamix (Sony PlayStation 1, 2002)

I bought this game for my mom. One day my mom, my brother, and I were at a local arcade shooting some pool when we decided to try out this cool looking game, DDR Extreme 2. We were instant addicts. I had to go to Wal-Mart and purchase the newly released DDR Supernova for the PS2. My mom was jealous and bought a plug and play one. She was disappointed with this version. So for Mother's Day, I decided to give her my old PS1 and purchase her a DDR for it. When I recieved the game, I had to test it out. The game is fun but seems to be for more advanced players. I did not try out everything on the game just played a few rounds. I think when she gets it she will enjoy it. I only have my doubts about it simply because I have the newest most updated DDR out, and know it's true potential.
As far as graphics and music selection the game is perfect. Of course you still have some of those japanese songs where you can't understand a word, but it is to be expected. PRODUCT IS GREAT! Would definetly recommend as long as it's your first one to purchase. Wonderful starter. I can't wait until the DDR sweeps the world.

This is a must have for any hardcore DDR fan out there. It's got a whole bunch of great Konami originals (thus the name of the game), along with some songs not seen in previous arcade versions. The menus and whatnot are from the Japanese version of 4th mix, which gives it more of an arcade feel. Overall I am very satisfied with this game, and I have no complaints. Now if I could just find an arcade machine with a memory card slot...

I've been looking for years trying to find this tittle! One of the Best and Rarest ps1 DDR game that was ever made. The game has great songs and compared to the new ones right now that has random songs some U.S. songs that shouldn't be there I think having Brittany Spears just slaving has no place in DDR... DDR was made for techno and should stay true to that. This one for those who wants a original DDR game that make it so popular before they started the change!

This is a great game. It makes you get up and get exercise and it also helps your eye and feet coordination because you have to keep up with the arrows on the screen. I would recommend this game to anyone! It's really fun.

This is an awesome way to get daughter motivated to get up and dance and move around to lose the weight she said she needed to lose. She wanted this to help her get exercising in and be fun, and it's working. I'm glad that I bought it! She's having fun with it! I couldn't motivate her in any other way, but this is awesome. It's a "game" that she can play and interact with and it's helping her!! Thanks!
