Dancing With The Stars (game & dance pad) (Sony PlayStation 2, 2007)

The game is fun, but to really enjoy it you need the dance pad-otherwise you are just pushing buttons on your controller. The graphics and voices are really great, especially for the judges. The game starts you out with just 2 characters but as you progress you unlock more and more dances. You can play alone or against another person. It follows the same progression as the television show. But like I said, you need the dance pad. Get up and get moving. It's also a great way to have fun and exercise at the same time (especially to the faster paced dances).

This game is so much fun. I got it to keep busy, and have lost 15 pounds dancing away for 30 minutes a night. This game is great, I would recommend it to anyone that wants something more interactive than the controller. Very worth the money paid.

In the short time I've had the game it has been a good source of family fun, we've had a lot of laughs out of it. Surprisingly, the dance moves can get rather complicated(or confusing) even on amateur. You definately have to have good coordination and footing. As for the dance pad itself, the buttons are easy to push, and the mat doesn't slide around or bunch up (although I have only used it on carpeted flooring. I'm not sure how it would do on tile or hardwood) I purchased this game as a fun way to workout, and although I haven't had the game long enough to confirm wether it works or not, I can say that when playing you really do work up a sweat, so i'd say watching what you eat along with playing this game you'd be sure to loose a few pounds.

Fun for the whole family, accessbible and challenging. The soundtrack is the best! Multiplayer is also fun! My only gripe is that we didn't have an option to use the dance pad. That would've made it perfect. But a great rhythm game!

I bought this product less than a month ago and i couldnt be more satisfied. This game is very interesting with the different dance moves and by the judges actually giving you a score out of ten just like on the show. I cant seem to stop playing once I get started. This is a wonderful product and I recommend it for anyone.
