Danelectro Pepperoni Phaser Guitar Effect Pedal

i was not expecting this. I picked this item up on ebay for a very low price. I love the warm sound of an old time, tube driven spring reverb. this unit is neither. I swear it sounds like the reverb on a vintage Fender amp! Stop looking, this is it! Save some money & get one! Fred Krone

This phaser isnt the most expensive or flashy one, but it serves its purpose pretty well. Very straightforward, with only speed control. Like I said, not too flashy, but these can generally be found for less than $20 if you know where to look, so picking one up isnt too hard. Theyre also somewhat easy to open up and mod from what Ive heard, and that can make the sound even better.

I just added this to my "chain". I play a Les Paul into a Fender Deluxe rev. RI and use an original TS9, Jeckyll and Hyde, Vox Crybaby, and a Line 6 echo box. The phaser is a bit noisy when engaged, but nothing that affects sound at "live" volumes. It provides a real nice color without being overbearing at all. Very limited control and if you want really thick coloration this is not your box, but for a nice phase effect for occasional use this is a heck of a value!

The Danelectro "Pepperoni" is a simple phaser with good sound. It definitely adds spice to good rock music. Great product.

I needed a cheap phase shifter that could be abused when I play theatre gigs. I hoped for one good sound somewhere in the spectrum, and got none. This thing is a stone cold turkey, garbanzo,dog meat, unusable.There isn't usable sound anywhere on it. Unfortunately, it's not heavy to make a good paperweight.Do not waste your money on this one.
