Hard and soft type trems. A very versatile unit for the money.

OK,The fact is I'm more likely to take the Tuna to a gig than the ridiculously expensive "boutique" Trem/Chorus Pedal I bought. It pretty much does what it claims to do no more, no less. Not noisy either.
Anyone want to buy a ridiculously expensive boutique Trem/Chorus?

I got this because I love that Gospel/early swamp R&B sound of tremolo that I first heard on a Slim Harpo record and Pops Staples' guitar, and then last year on Matt Kelly's (Bret Littlehale's band, Bigboy Little) rig. Matt told me it was the Tuna Melt, so I finally got around to ordering.

Very inexpensive, delivered promptly, works great.

Just what I hoped.

Great little Tremolo Pedal for the price. I got one slightly used on Ebay. Works good for me, and I didn't have to spend alot of money considering all the others out there.

The Tuna Melt Tremolo is a BEST BUY!!

Created: 03/03/11
I've been playing electric guitar since 1962. I have had numerous amps with built-in tremelo and I have spent plenty of money on tremelo effect pedals, most of them far more expensive than the Tuna Melt, so I have some experience in this matter. The Tuna Melt Tremelo pedal, although a little silly and fragile looking, is a WONDERFUL pedal that truly captures the vintage USA amplifier tremelo effect. I am totally serious. This may be, dollar for dollar, the best effect pedal ever. I could kick myself for not trying one years ago.
