Produced by Mitchell Froom (Elvis Costello, Crowded House) and Powter's long-term collaborator Jeff Dawson, the album confirms Powter's fine songwriting talents with standout tracks such as the memorable opening track 'Song 6', the driving melodies of 'Suspect' and the delicate ballad 'Jimmy Gets High'. The first single to be released from the album was 'Bad Day', a remarkably infectious pop song that was a huge hit in Europe in Spring 2005.

) Daniel Powter has a very smooth sound. His music is soothing yet some are upbeat and all are meaningful. I first heard his single "Bad Day" on American Idol and wanted to hear more of his music. After going on his website and listening to a few songs there, I decided to buy his CD. I'm not disappointed and would recommend this CD highly!

) CD was ok, just not my type of tunes really, I bought it mostly for one song that was on there. Bad Day. The rest just aren't my type. Guys should sound like guys when they sing, not girls. (most of his songs are sung very high) But I got the one song I wanted so I'm happy enough.

Daniel Powter Music CD Had a Bad Day

I wanted the CD because I really liked the song had a bad day from American Idol this season. Went on ebay and got it that way instead of the store. A lot of times you can get something cheaper on ebay then any store and I am glad that there is an ebay. There was nothing I disliked. I have been very happy with everything I have gotten.

) From time to time you run into a CD with a track you like but this one had several good tracks. It is difficult to know if this artist is a one CD wonder
or not since he hasn't been heard of since 2005 but at least he left this CD as a memory and it left us with an anthem we can all relate to with the song "Bad

This CD has some songs in it like the song Bad Day which are excellent. It also has some really irratating songs which sent me through the ceiling. I bought the CD for the song Bad Day and got a few extras which I really enjoy, I also have some I always have to skip.
