    Written long before every new title on the shelf was about vampires, werewolves, witches, or anything else paranormal, Dark Crusade helped to define the dark fantasy genre created by authors like Robert E Howard and Michael Moorcock.

    The title character Kane is the epitome of the anit-hero. Kane is always out for personal power and doesn't care who he hurts to gain it. This book shows the consequences of making deals with the devil to get ahead in life.

    A great book.
