Product Information
DDRMAX2 Dance Dance Revolution is filled with new features and additions to the established Konami dancing series. New songs include Busy Child (The Crystal Method), Little Bit Of Ecstasy (Jocelyn Enriquez), and Get Down Tonight (K.C. & The Sunshine Band), and more than 60 others. NonStop Mode gives you the chance to set up themed song lists played without breaks, for a little DJ-role-playing tease. Then there's Endless mode, which plays through all the songs continuously throughout the night, giving dancing fiends, well, as he mode says, an endless amount of music. The Workout mode lets you select a calorie goal, and then dance to your selected group of songs until you reach the limit. There is also an edit mode where you can create your own steps. Supports the Dance Pad.

    It's worth it.

    Created: 14/09/10
I chose to buy DDRMax2 because I enjoyed playing the original arcade game, and thought it would be fun to play at home. DDRMax2 is, overall, a fun game, and similar to previous versions of the title. There are a ot of song overlaps between this version and the original DDRMax, so if you didn't like that game's tracks, you probably won't want to buy this game.

I bought the game used, so the price was definitely worth the experience. This game's workout mode is also better set up that the ones in DDRKonamix and DDRMax, and the stepping can be altered to maximize particular movements (i.e. - aerobic exercises).

The game isn't a new title, but it's definitely worth having, if only to pull out at parties, or as an excuse for jumping around to groovy music.

One Of The Best DDR Titles Released Yet!

    Created: 01/04/08
DDRMAX2 has one of, if not, the best song list of any DDR game released. Songs that range from slow hip-hop to Euro-trans music that really get you moving! It also has a wide range of modes and different difficulties that range from beginner to expert, including a "Challenge" setting available on certain songs for those who, well, would like a challenge...

    Great way to work out!

    Created: 03/03/10
If you do not have Dance Dance Revolution, get it ... any of them and the dance mats to go with the program. You will get a work out. You will build muscles and tone your body if you do this a few times each week. We average 4 to 5 days.

You can go to the work out mode and put in your weight and decide how many calories you want to burn and get busy! You can be up to 600 pounds when you start out as we found out by accident the mats go that high.

So you cannot say, I am too heavy for this game.. Odds are you are not.

We have been using this program and other programs like it for well over a month now. My teenaged daughter has dropped 14 pounds and still going!
She is burning approx 500 calories a day doing this 4 to 5 days a week. Oh and she has cut back on how much foods she eats too. 14 pounds in a little over a month is a great accompliment! We are all very pleased!

My mobility is getting much better and those aches and pains in the knees and other joints are becoming few and far between. The back problems I had that plagued me seem to be all but gone and walking is much easier for me too. And I am able to sleep through the night now. Middle aged folks need to work out with something like this.

You start out slow and work up. Where my daughter is able to keep up on the higher levels, I have to stay on the lower ones... When you are over 50 you have to work up to these higher levels with care. Yet I am getting faster and better every day.

What we do not like about this disc is that we cannot turn off the jumps.
That makes it harder on us than the Nova that allows the jumps to be turned off.

If you do not have a Dance Dance Revolution game and mats.. get them!

This makes for Great family fun! We all have times when we ditch the work out mode and go head to head in compition and sometimes us old folks do just fine.

We are looking forward to our grandchildren coming to visit so we can compete with them.. They have the dance dance revolution game and mats at home to help them stay fit during the winter months. I have a feeling the youngsters will beat us head to head, but what fun we will have!

Ever now and then you find a product that turns your life around, makes you feel better about yourself and helps you feel more fit. The Dance Dance revolution and dance mats do just that.

We enjoy them as the music is family friendly.
    The exercise is family friendly.
Yet Teens, children and adults all benifit from this game.

    Let's get moving America!

This will get your feet to moving, build up some muscle tone, help drop some pounds, bring families just alittle closer together, gets you up off the couch, help with a cardio work out, and helps the body to work better. If you are a couch potato, this is a fun way to make the transition to a moving person.

And these games keep track of how many miles you have jogged too! We are over a hundred!

And if you just do not want to get up on the dance mats, just try to keep your foot from tapping along with the music.

We find ourselves watching the arrows that tell you which way to step when we are not dancing on the mats and doing the steps off the mat too! Nothing like extra motion when you are trying to drop a few pounds.

I can't say enough good about Dance Dance revolution. We want very much to pick them all up as time goes by.

    Very worthy product.

Thank you for reading this review!

    May God Bless...

MY KIDS LOVE IT! Very happy with purchase!

    Created: 05/11/06
My kids play this at the bowling alley and theater. I thought it would be fun for them to have it at home to do. Besides being good exercise, it brings the two kids together doing something and not fighting. It is a wonderful game and helps my kids with there coordination and memory. They love the music and want me to pick up another DDR game. Guess I will be looking for one on Ebay.

    The sequel

    Created: 05/10/06
This was my first DDR game and I couldn't be happier. This game was the life of every party I had, and provided my friends and I hours of entertainment! I love techno music, and that's pretty much all this game is. I love it! Plus this game series is so famous, it's worth trying ANY of them!
