Dead Heat by Joel C. Rosenberg (2008, Unabridged, Compact Disc)

A really fitting ending to a really great series. Action packed to the end.
What I disliked liked is, that it ended and no other books can be written in this series. Highly recommend this book, but don't read it until you have read the other four in order or you will ruin the effect.

Rosenberg has a brilliant way of seeing what is going to happen before it happens. His circle of friends is vast and his insights are supreme. He has the ability to listen and absorb his content and he then reveals his opinions in such a way that, when they do happen for real, you are awe struck. The man has true vision while we just see. His books are all best sellers and they all have insights that you don't get from television or radio. A true master of his craft and boy can you get involved all the way down to your toes.

If you get only one read this year, Rosenberg is hard to beat.

Fast paced story. Hard to put down. I kept referring to the US presidential candidates and wondering what they would do. Highly recommend all Joel's books.
