Dead Space Extraction (Wii, 2009)

It is a crying shame there are not more "M" rated games like this for the Wii. Instead of another port of Dead Space this is an excellent prequel. Great graphics and action for a Wii game! Hope they release Dead Space 2 for Wii!!!!

I like the game, but it is not awesome like the xbox 360 version. I played this game single player and beat it in about 6 hours. It was fun and enjoyable. I just don't think the length of the game is worth it's retail price. The controls are fairly easy to operate, but the automatic walking through the environment frequently does not give enough time to collect ammo and supplies that are lying about. I would recommend playing this game, but i do not see myself keeping it in my collection of wii games.

Although not as "exciting" as the original Dead Space, it still ranks to the top in most of the wii games created. I originally bought this product for a friend, but..... ended up somewhat addicted and now I'm borrowing the game from him. There are other games in arcade still but, unlike this game, it won't give you the freedom to change weapons, melee enemies, and have a heart racing experience of pure terror! This game is highly recommended for anyone into having you heart beat fast of excitement!

A must have for all avid fans of the Dead Space series. An outstanding prequel with gripping stories and gameplay. All the original sounds of weaponry, monsters, even interactive panels and item pickups are consistent to its previous game.

For those who are unfamiliar to the series, Extraction is a highly responsive and interactive game for the Wii and one of its most respectable titles within the horror genre. Players will enjoy the constant thrills of being overrun by enemies while having to perform various quicktime events.

First let me say, this game makes Resident evil and Tomb raider seem like a church pic-nic. Make sure the kids are asleep as it is violant and has VERY course language.
Now for the game, this is one of the very few games that nes rated M and means it! It's an awesome game so far! It's nice to play a game that's NOT RACING OR SILLY ANIMATION! I think they forgot that there are still adults that like video games!! I've been gaming for 20 years, so I can safely say this is going to be a great game!
I haven't played it for more than a couple hours, and the game is still moving ME through the sceens. Not sure if this will change or not. Story line is very well done. It pulls you in, so I think it's worth adding to your M arsonal...
