Deadliest Catch - Season Three (DVD, 2008, 3-Disc Set)

Season 3 of Deadliest Catch is the best one yet! All the old friends are back on the Bering Sea with Captain Sig Hanson , and the guys from the Cornelia Marie, Time Bandit, and the Maverick with it's new skipper.
Some awesome events in the King crab season make this show better than it's usual greatness.
I would definetly recommend this collection for anyone that has an interest in boats, fisherman, and deep sea adventure, anyone who has ever watched Deadliest Catch, anyone who has ever heard about it, and to those who just happened to stumble across it.

I'm not exactly sure why I Love Deadliest Catch, perhaps because this is an amazingly stressful, dangerous job that makes my job & my life look easy by comparison? Every show is a new Exciting Adventure between the Brutal Bering Sea, trying to fish & find the Crab, the interactions between the fishermen, some of the Unique, Distinct Characters & Personalities are so entertaining!
EDGAR & Phil you are my favorites!! SIG I wish you would lighten up on Edgar & your crew ~Have a Heart~ sometimes. I would Love to see the Scottish Cook GORDON RAMSAY from Hell's Kitchen & Kitchen Nightmares (which is also one of my favorite shows) try a Bering Sea Crab trip "just once" with these super tough men, how Interesting would that be!!! I hope this Series Runs for a Very, very Long time, Outstanding Entertainment!!!

It's winter outside in Minnesota, I'm laying in a warm bed getting ready to go to sleep. I decide to watch a little TV until I fall asleep. I switch on the DVD and here comes "DEADLIEST CATCH" season three.

This has to be the "WORST JOB" ever.

Put yourself on the deck.

The wind is blowing so hard you can't stand up, the water is a few degrees BELOW freezing and hitting you in the face like needles, it's completely dark except for the flood lights. You're tired, wet, cold, hungry and thristy, but you can't stop working yet. You're pulling pots and have been for the last 9 hours. You've only got 50 plus pots left to pull. You might be finished in another 5-6 hours if nothing BAD happens.

Now the wind is picking up and the waves are coming over the side of the boat. The Skipper tries to warn you when a "rouge wave" is coming, but sometimes he can't see them for the squalling snow. Suddenly, without warning a huge wave swells up right next to the boat and you don/t have time to...................

Just think about this. Now try going to sleep in your warm bed.

Antoher great season of the Discovery Channel's hit show The Deadliest Catch. It's a great show chronicaling the victories and trials of Alaska's crab fisherman as they battle the Bering Sea to find their catch. A must see for any Discovery fan!

We love watching Deadliest catch. Not that long ago CPT Phil Harris of the Corneala Marie passed away from a stoke and the seasons capture a lot of great memories with him and his sons....... This series is a show that explains how people risk their lives so we the consumer can have all the things we enjoy. If it wasn't for people like these, we would go without!! RIP CPT PHIL :(
