    Publisher's Note
-- Wise, spiritual, down-to-earth and relevant. -- Fresh and different perspectives based on ancient wisdom sheds light on some of life's stickiest relationship issues. The Death of Cupid draws on ancient Jewish sources and shows how timeless wisdom can enable people of all backgrounds to have deeper, more fulfilling and passionate relationships. Divided into four sections, it discusses: "The Wisdom of Marriage", "The Wisdom of Dating", "The Wisdom of Sex", and "The Wisdom of Romance". Based on the highly successful Love, Sex and Marriage seminar conducted by Braverman, and includes important chapters which never made it into the seminar. These include: the definition of marriage, the body and soul of sex, the spiritual bedroom, falling in and out of love, down-to-earth love, and five approaches to meaningful dating.

The Death of Cupid offers real world insights and clear definitions of love, marriage and commitment that can serve as solid foundations for fulfilling, life-long relationships.
Of course you want to marry someone who is nice, but is niceness enough? This book explores the meaning of kindness and it's place in marriage; the way to balance emotional openness with the need for boundaries and the fine line between honesty and privacy.
Burnout and boredom are not inevitable. The Death of Cupid offers a whole new way of understanding the romantic and sexual components of marriage. You will discover wisdom for keeping passion alive and for adding a transcendent spiritual quality to your marriage.

Written for people of all faiths and backgrounds and speaks equally to singles and couples in search of lasting love.

This book is both an easy read and full of ready-to-use tools for someone serious about finding their spouse. I send this to anyone who is either looking to get married or thinks they found their mate.
If you want a quick (few hours tops) and upfront perspective on how to make a relationship (leading to marriage of course) work, this book is for you. It will state the obvious things you should think about when searching for a mate. Although there is nothing profoundly eye opening in this book, no how-to's, and thankfully no preaching, it tells the reader the basics. And like everything else in the world, when things are tough, go back to the basics.
