Dell 962 Photo All-In-One Inkjet Printer

I purchased this printer from Dell over a year ago. up until recently I only used it to fax, print in color and B&W, Scan, and copy. Which it performed excellent in all tasks. Last week I finally got a Digital camera so I decided to try out the photo printing on the sample photo paper that came with the printer. Without the Photo cartridge this printer prints lab quality photos, I was completely shocked.... Much better results than any other Photo printer I have ever seen. The first reviewer obviously did not use photo paper or did something wrong. Buy without fear... GREAT ALL IN ONE.

I got this about a few days ago. Easy to use, good quality text prints and scanning is very fast and acurate. This should not be called a photo printer. You get black and colour with it, the photo cartridge is extra! So much for a photo printer without photo cartridge! The quality without the photo thingy looks ok, but when I put my glasses on, it does not come close to other photo printers.

My verdict, its a good all rounder, but if you want photos, get a photo printer.

I bought this printer new from Dell when I ordered my last Dell computer. The sales gal lied to me and told me it was about the same size as my HP printer (it is 3 times larger) and the picture quality would be better than my HP. WRONG. Picture quality SUCKS. But still, it worked okay until I replaced the ink cartridge. I got a message that says the Right Cartridge is incorrect. Huh??? It is identical to the one that I took out and I ordered it from Dell! I have not used this thing enough to even get the new off of it and it is now a plastic paperweight. My warranty has expired so Dell doesn't want to talk to me. Needless to say, I will never buy another piece of equipment from them. I have purchased 4 computers and 3 printers from them in the past, but hte printers were HP printers which I loved. I am buying a laptop next month. Guess who I will NOT buy from????? Yep, DELL. I am done.

I have never purchased an item that I love so much. This printer has it all, and does it all. I do a lot of Desktop publishing, and this is just what I need to get the job done. The photo printing is the best anyone could ever ask for. I dicided to purchase this item because I know that Dell is the best product that you can buy, and because the price was "out of this world". It is like brand new. There is not a thing about this printer that I do not like. If you want a quality printer that does it all, get one like mine.

I love this printer. It can do anything you need it to do. It is a copy machine, fax, printer and photo printer. The copies it spits out are very nice. I ordered this on EBay as a replacement to one I had bought from Dell. Dell no longer manufactures this model though so if you want to get one you need to get a refurbished one. I would definitely go that route. The one I got off EBay was about $60. The one I bought from Dell was a few hundred dollars. There was absolutely no difference between them! The only problem is that the cartridges are pretty expensive.
