Dell All-In-One 948 All-In-One Inkjet Printer

With the printers i have used, this one is just as good as the Brother i use. It does not get up and dance, it just works as it should---usually. My original Dell 948 AIO has some issues that i cannot fix & i believe it was because i put in a black ink cartridge that i received from Dell leaking at the top a little. Here is why you DO NOT want this printer - Dell has gotten too cocky with their ink prices & making them difficult to get unless you call Dell & order them. While you are doing that, (and paying triple)they are going to hound you to buy this & that & this & that....REPEAT! I purchased this printer & another used one (same make & model) for the reason that i still had too many full ink cartridges to use. That's your sign-when you buy 2 printers not to lose the ink that you have already purchased. I do a fair amount of copying/printing, but i am just one person and can easily save $1000. a year using the Brother compared to the Dell. I am being very conservative with that amount. So that is why i bought 2 of these printers-because the cost of the ink i had on hand was more money than the 2 printers. There is also a company that will sell you refills for the printer. The savings are 1 to 2 dollars and your system will not know that they are full & keep giving you warnings when the bottom line is, you don't know how much ink is left. They sent me a way to bypass it, but it didn't work. So i DO NOT suggest refills as the small savings are not worth the hassle putting Dell back in the drivers seat. You CANNOT take them to be refilled as dell has put a microchip in them not allowing it. DELL=GREED~I LOVE my BROTHER!

i like the item it is very affordable and just what i wanted. it is the all-in-one that i needed.i have a new dell notebook and it is dell also, works great together.all that i need is the wireless printer adapter now.....

I bought this printer because it was like the one that came with my computer new. My Printer had the hinge break on the door so it wouldn't close, therefore making it so it would not print. Nice price and fast delivery for a replacement.

I got a Dell 948 printer free with the purchase of my PC. It is a wonderful machine. The ink is expensive so I buy refills for $16.99 each, big savings. The machine will not tell you when you are out of ink when you use them, but the savings makes it worth while. The machine does everything well. The quality is very good, it is fast and fairly easy to use. One day I heard a loud snap and then it said cover open. Somehow a plastic piece holding the top on, broke??????? I taped it down and continued to use it. Since I liked the machine and had lots of ink for it, I found a brand new one in the box for sale for a decent price, so i bought it and am fully satisfied with it.

We already have two of these printers purchased new, on different floors in our home. Desktops have become a hobby. When I saw this one, I was able to win it at a great price. It looks and operates like new.
It took only a few minutes to set up the printer and install software and new ink. It promptly printed a test page, and has handled each printing and scanning task without a hitch.
