It was a perfect fit although it had a pointing device located in the middle of the keyboard that was not on the original nor was it listed in the descriptions of the new one. The new keyboard worked just fine but the pointing device could not be installed for some reason.......

) My IT guy was ready to have me spend upwards of $300 for a new keypad to fit my Dell laptop. After waiting 6 weeks for one, I decided to try E-Bay. He said "they never work because every keyboard is different". Well, I tried one anyway and guess what, it worked perfectly! Talk about a great savings.
Dell Keyboard

I bought this keyboard for my wife. The item stated it was new. I don't believe that to be true. The tabs that the screws go in has battle scars, as if it were already in another machine. Also the space bar isn't the easiest thing in the world to type with. When my wife types it looks like she hates to his the space bar and words runtogetherbadly.
Easy repair

) I was given a Dell D600 Laptop that had been mistreated. After adding this replacement keyboard and a new LCD panel, it was as good as new.
