Dell S2209W 21.5" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black

I love everything about this monitor. The screen is huge and the picture is fantastic! As soon as I got it I enlarged my screen size under DISPLAY on my computer and not I can see ebay in 22" and it is great! I dislike nothing!! I needed a new monitor saw this one for $139 on ebay and with that price I could not pass it up! That is the same price as an average 17"! Picture is clear! I have always had Dell computers and been very satisfied but they did not make monitors. So when I say this was a Dell I knew that at the least I would have good customer service if needed!

It has been almost 1 month since I have had this monitor. I am not a big fan of Dell products, but I have to say that this is one great product! It is very wide, which I really like, compared to my previous I-Inc 22" monitor. My computer has a DVI display adapter and it looks much better than the VGA hookup. This is a very nice product! I recommend this to everybody who is looking for a widescreen monitor. Thank-you for an outstanding product!

I purchased my first one of these monitors new from Dell almost 3 years ago now and since then I have purchased 3 more for myself and several friends have purchased them. Not the fanciest of monitors but they have a DVI & VGA port, the stand is also not the fanciest around BUT, in my opinion, the picture quality is excellent. I work in the IT field and see lots of monitors ( and repair them ) and I have never heard of a problem with this model. If you are looking for a good monitor in this size I would 100% recommend this one! I am actually looking for another one right now for myself!

I bought this as my first wide screen monitor. It has been great. The colors and clarity is excellent. The all black bezel blends in beautifully with it. Very easy to set up having both analog and digital inputs. Computer (Windows 7) recognized it immediately. Great 3 year advanced replacement exchange if needed in the future.

I BOUGHT THE DELL MONITOR ON EBAY AFTER SPENDING MONTHS READING REVIEWS ON DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER'S MONITORS AND HAVING THE EXPERIENCE OF BUYING 3 COMPUTERS, 1 LAPTOP, 2 DESKTOPS FROM H___P___ AND EXPERIENCING LESS THAN STELLAR RESULTS. I BOILED DOWN MY LIST TO TWO MANUFACTURERS, DELL AND ACER. I WAS A LITTLE LEARY BECAUSE DELL'S PRICING HAS BEEN A BIT PRICEY. I THEN ASKED FRIENDS WHO OWNED DELL AND ACER PRODUCTS AND THEY GAVE DELL RAVE REVIEWS. I BOUGHT THIS DELL 22" MONITOR AND I AM VERY IMPRESSED. THE S2209W IS MORE OF A BUDGET MONITOR FOR HOME USERS. ITS 16:9 ASPECT RATIO AND 1,920 X 1,080 PIXEL RESOLUTION PLACES IT IN THE GROUP OF THE NEW GENERATION OF FULL HD MONITORS THAT ARE PERFECT FOR VIDEO AND GAMES. COLORS ARE VERY VIVID. BLACKS ARE VERY CRISP. BLACKS TO GREY ARE WELL DEFINED. IT HAS THE HOOKUPS FOR BOTH DVI AND VGA. THE PRICE WAS MORE THAN PERFECT. ANYONE WHO BUYS ONE OF THESE MONITORS WILL BE VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR PURCHASE.
