Denon AVR 1912 7.1 Channel 125 Watt Receiver

So far I love this receiver. It does exactly what I wanted and more. The network integration is awesome, as is the access to music services like Pandora, and the ability to stream music from a home server.

I give it 4 out of 5 stars because myself, like others (that I've read), have had to do a hard reset on the unit a couple times already when it froze in the middle of operation, and the only way to reset the device was to unplug it. It's only happened a couple times, but for something in this price range, I hope they push an update that resolves it.

Otherwise, great sound, easy to operate, great features, and a great price from the seller I bought from.

The most hdmi inputs available for the money,aprox $500. The instructions are on a cd so unless your tv is all set up you must have a laptop next to you at startup. The selection buttons on the front of the unit are not readable so using the remote is required until one programs a logitec harmony remote and hook up the tv. Then this unit works Great. The speaker setup requires patience and a quiet period but fixes the room balance well. Changing radio channels is not easy so set up your favorites. The composit outputs do'nt work when the input is hdmi. This prevented hooking up a vcr/dvd recorder to record sd tv signal.

I've been using the receiver for about a month now, and I completely love it. It's so technologically inclined that it completely surpasses the competition. It was extremely easy to set up and customize the various different channels. I highly recommend the AVR 1912!

I bought this reciever because of the Air Play feature. I still have not got it to work without interruption, makes it useless. Everything thing else works great! Now I have to run another pooping wire. Should of got a lesser model.
