) I have very sensitive skin which is easily irritated. I bought this product because a beautician had used it on my face when I was receiving a facial and it was very gentle. I use this product in conjunction with the ultracalming serum concentrate. What I like is that you don't have to use a lot to get results. So, economically, this product lasts for a long time and I say that because a lot of people might first baulk at the price. But trust me. I use only the size of a grain of rice on each side of my face and it covers around my eyes, my forehead and my cheeks and it makes my skin feel light and silky soft with absolutely no irritation. It feels like you have an extra layer of skin that is protecting you from the elements. I had only ever used a moisturiser on its own before so I can't offer a comparison but I will say that I would definitely make the investment to purchase this product again.

I would recommend this product to anyone. I have great difficulty with products that I use on my face due to allergies. Over the last two years I have been fighting a horrible disease called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy or AKA Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and one of the easier symptoms of this disease is severe dry skin. My face has suffered terrible as a result of my dry skin. I decided to purchase a sample pack of numerous Dermalogica Products and liked them all and have now purchased most of them in full size but by far my most favorite would have to be the Barrie Repair. I have just never felt anything like it on my face. It truly does feel like velvet. So soft and smooth. I just love it.

Love this product, mix it with a few drops of foundation and I get flawless skin. Good for any environmental irritaion, soothing.

) This is deceptive product. You think it is going to be a light weight moisturizer. But it is a powerhouse.
