classic old school metal

This Christian metal band has indeed produced a classic here. This will continue to be a measuring standard for metal to come. Their talent is immense and they lyrical integrity something to be appreciated.
They tackle some personal issues such as the one in the radio classic Alone in Suicide. They explore the reality of evil vs. good, sin vs. God, in Battle Of The Flesh and Self-Destruction.
They enter boldly into theological territory with a communion song, Eat the Flesh, and Holy Fire. They even put together a mini-rock opera with Crucify and Messiah back to back.
This is a very good cd, although some might find the 80's lead vocals a little high. The background in classical singing might be an annoying falcetto in some ears but, the guy can belt it out. The band is solid and there is a good variety of hard rocking tunes here.

This was Bloodgood's best album and sends chills down my spine it is so good. The lyrics tell all with the death and resurrection of Christ. This is a must for any true metal fan! Les Carlson on vocals and David Zaffiro on guitars makes this one a real treat! Bloodgood is one of the best metal bands that never made it big in the Christian market, but wow...what a band...the dedication to Christ, screaming vocals and pulsating cords!! Detonation Rocks!!!!
