This book tells me about DSLR basics. A good book for beginners. Not a typical book for amateurs. I dislike their concept about SLR, because for my perspective most beginners should practice shooting with film before going digital. I'm a big fan of photography, this book somehow gave me a heads up about basics.

I have been considering the purchase of a SLR Camera while shopping at a local
store the salesman stated it would be wise to educate myself prior to the purchase . He recommended the Dummies book. I bid on a used book and was very pleased with the purchase.

I am new to the SLR world. I bought this book before I bought a slr camera to find out what I was getting in to. I have learned alot about slr camera's and what to look for when buying one. I have learned alot about how they work and how to use one. I recomend this book to any one looking to start or improve their SLR usage and photo's.
