Dirty Dancing was a film I'd only seen in sections, passing by on television, but I couldn't resist wanting to see it in its entirely because of the lead actors. And I have a friend who loves this film quite a bit.
Watching the girl learn how to dance, watching the practice sessions and how
the routines are worked out, and then, finally, getting to the finished
dance at the end is a triumph. It's not just dancing, it's athletic,
competitive and precise and the sound-track, the supporting actors and the
environment of the summer camp all come together to offer up a spirited
vacation for the viewer.

I saw this movie when it first came out in theaters & loved it, so of coarse I had to add it to my collection, as I've watched it many, many times through out the years. And when this special 20th aniversary edition came out on DVD, I knew I had to have it!!! All these years later, I'm still watching this movie over & over. What's not to love about this awesome movie??? Patrick Swayze is absolutely amazing in this movie & Jennifer Grey is a perfect fit for him in this movie! I would recommend this movie to everyone!!!
