Disney Animation Collection Volume 7: Mickey's Christmas Carol (DVD, 2009)

This past Christmas season, I introduced my 8 year old grandson to "Mickey's Christmas Carol." He had not yet heard of the Charles Dickens classic story. I explained to him how Ebenezer Scrooge was far to greedy to understand that Christmas is the time for kindness and generosity. The telling of Dicken's story just doesn't get any better than this Disney version.

A classic of the Charles Dickens Story "A Christmas Carol" with our favorite classic characters Mickey, Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge. While giving us a few bonus short films, I feel that in the age of the HD TVs, Disney should offer that classic Chrismas tale in a completely remastered HD format. Don't get me wrong. The movie looks great on DVD, but a lot of movies have been re-edited with even better graphics and resolution.

This Dvd was not what I thought i would be. It has the mickeys christmas carol with other previews of other disney movies and little short ones. I hated trying to get the christmas carol for my daughter. It was a pain because it was a little confusing. She likes it a little but its not that great of a movie. Thanks

In this age of manic, pseudo sexual, idiotic animation for children this one is like a cool breeze on a hot day. It presents a story of caring and generosity along with classic humor and endearing characters. My son loves it and has worn out his VHS version so I was glad to find this one for him. It's a keeper!

I watched this cartoon when I was a kid and it never gets old! My 5 year old daughter loves it. It never gets old to me. Their are a lot of Christmas cartoons with this same story line but this Mickey Mouse one is to me the best one out there. You will love it, your kids will love it.
