Product Information
A heroic tale of redemption and discovery, Epic Mickey is an action-platforming game featuring the iconic Mickey Mouse in a fantastical adventure inspired by the cartoons of the 1930s and 1940s. Pulled into a warped Disney universe called the Cartoon Wasteland by an evil villain, Mickey finds himself in a world inhabited by the retired and forgotten cartoon characters and attractions from Disney's past. Mickey must use the very elements of himself and the world, paint and paint thinner, to explore the Cartoon Wasteland, find the source of evil that is destroying the land, and redeem his fellow cartoon characters including Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney's first cartoon star and Mickey's resentful half-brother. With visionary game designer Warren Spector behind the title, players choose their own path to defeat supreme evil, face the consequences of those decisions and ultimately free the Cartoon Wasteland.

Good game for 7-14 year olds

     | Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good game for 7-14 year olds in my opinion. Under 7 will need an adult to help them through the quests, and older than 14 might get bored with the simplicity of the game, at least in the beginning.

If you like to play wii games with your kids, this is a pretty good game to accomplish that.

Very Creative- Adults and Kids Alike Love It!

    Created: 12/12/10
Very creative- users use a paint brush to make things happen.

Epic Mickey is an action-adventure platforming game that has a classic Mickey Mouse on a journey - he is sent to "Wasteland" where a lot of forgotten Disney characters have been banished. Its a bit dark for Disney, kind of reminds me of the path that the Batman movie series has headed or even the 007 series. Seems like everything is getting more and more adult and serious.

Wasteland is filled with the "losers" of Disney's creative output. Characters like "Oswald the Lucky Rabbit" (who?), which was Uncle Walt's first cartoon character. These are characters from down deep in the Disney vaults (keep in a forgotten corner) who for super Disney fans might find interesting from an historic standpoint but won't do a lot to spark any excitement from younger players.

Other than meeting the forgotten cartoon characters the goal of the story is to basically collect the "over 75" virtual Disney pins (tie in to Disney theme parks) that are collected by completing challenges or uncovering hidden areas.

    Mickey's quest

    Created: 25/02/11
I really like the action of this game even though it use a few less blotlings in some area's of the game. I think that almost all of the toons in this game are amazing. They may be old toons but it is great to see a lot of old faces, Some new faces, and some faces I never even knew that they thought up like animatronic Daisy, Donald, and Goofy. I like to rent video games to see if I like them and I really like this game. The side quests also help in the game with the money, the extra's, and the up grades help out a lot in the game. I think they could have gone without the pipe organ thought. I think with as hot as epic mickey is that Disney should come up with a sequel to epic mickey and set it up so that there are two hero's instead of just one, kinda like a team of two working together as one. I think that it would be equally as amazing.

    Awesome game!

    Created: 15/04/11
At first, the game was quite difficult, mainly because I had never used the nunchucks for the Wii. Epic Mickey is a trivial game of figuring out where and how to get places. It is fascinating to see the Mickey of old instead of a new Comp An. Mickey. So if you like games like Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia, I recommend buying Epic Mickey.

    Magical Mickey!!

    Created: 04/01/11
Reviewed by my 8 year old son: Epic Mickey is the 2nd best game that I've ever played! It's very cool because you can make things disappear and reappear with thinner and paint, and you can do it very easily. Using that feature helps you discover things and get through the story. You can make bad guys come on your side and fight other enemies, and there's also guardians that can help you on the way!
