Doc Hollywood (DVD, 1998)

If you were ever born in a big city and then had to move for some reason to a quiet little town then ull love this movie. Its about a big city doctor who is forced to do community service in a small town. Little does he know that this town will soon grow on him and also that he would find the one woman who can make him fall in love with the town and herself as well. If you like to see a romantic and wonderful movie, then i suggest u purchase this movie. It has a wonderful cast and ull find yourself wanting to see it over and over again.

one of Michael's best. I'm glad to have it on this dvd which has
good picture and sound, but only a trailer. This is a terrific
romantic comedy I definitely recommend picking up.

I have always enjoyed this movie, and its one I can watch over and over and over. It's the kind of movie that so many of us need to watch and apply to our lives, that the rat race just might be able to survive with one less rat. The slow pace and community values that "Doc Hollywood" discovers on his temporary stay in Small Town America teach him that success is not measured by dollars and cents, but by friends, being part of the community and finding satsifaction in doing something that you not only enjoy, but that makes a difference in the world, even if it's just a small corner of that world.

You can't rent movies this cheap!
What a great value. I've bought two movies from White Elephant Video and both arrived as promised. I used the "kind of slow" shipping and the overall cost of the movie and shipping was less than it would cost me to drive to a store and rent a movie.
Both movies I bought (Beyond the Law and Doc Hollywood) are several years old and I was unable to find them at major retail stores or video rental stores. After finding White Elephant Video on Ebay I will no longer look for older movies anywhere else. I haven't looked for newer release movies here (yet), but if they sell them like they do the older ones then I'm never leaving the house to rent one again!

This might not be one of Michael J. Foxe's best movies but it is a good one. I think it will remind people to listen to others when they give advice and about small town living. I had a hard time thinking of Michael as a doctor as young as he was in this movie but he kind of fell into the part as the movie went on. Comedy and small town living made this movie a good mixture of both, it is a good movie to watch.
