Doctor Who Magic!
Created: 15/10/07
While series two remains as a fan-based season with the return of the daleks, cybermen, and sarah jane smith. The departure of Billie Piper in Doomsday leads into series three christmas special as the Doctor and Donna fight a spiderqueen. This christmas special title "The Runaway Bride" remindes me of the Jon Pertwee story of The Planet of The Spiders. This episode you actually see the TARDIS fly which is a real treat. Donna also refuses to join the Doctor as a companion.
Episode 1-Smith and Jones
Martha Jones gets "beamed up" to the moon, where rhinos-like creature are on a bounty hunt for a blood sucking vampire. We are introduce to Martha Jones as the a smart and mature companion compare to Rose however the story is rather flaky.
Episode 2-Shakespeare Code
The Doctor and Martha Jones meets Shakespeare and fight witches. Too many references and Shakespeare quotes to my liking. And interesting concept of the power of words is a part of the series story arch.
Episode 3-Gridlock
The return of the Face of Boe and his dying words are the highlight of this story. The Doctor and Martha are trapped in a highway system on New Earth. A return of classic 2nd Doctor monster is a bonus. The Doctor lies to Martha about his homeworld Gallifrey and trys to redeem himself.
Episode 4-Dalek in Manhatten
1920's New York, pig slaves, and the Daleks. Dalek Sec is back to restore the Dalek Empire.
Episode 5-Evolution of the Daleks
Dalek Sec becomes the first human dalek but later is killed.
Episode 6-The Lazuraus Experiment
Lazuraus uses a machine to makes himself younger but this jackly and hyde story meets James Bond meets The Scorpin King. We are introduce to Martha's parents.
Episode 7-42
Real time 42 minutes for the Doctor to save a crew from being engulg by a sun. Another series 2 like story of Impossible Planet and Satan Pit.
Episode 8-Human Nature
Paul Cornell delivers his adaptation of his story, the Doctor becomes human to hide from aliens out to kill him to they can live. Pre-WWI, the Doctor is a teacher who falls in love. Martha is a servant who is protecting the Doctor's conscious in a hand watch.
Episode 9-The Family of Blood
The Doctor must decide to stay human or save the planet. We learn the darkside of the Doctor's character and his sense of justice when he sends the Family of Blood into exile. This is two part story is the trophy of the whole season.
Episode 10-Blink
Consider as a "Doctor light" story, the weeping angels are statues that transport you into another time. Doctor gives help in "easter eggs" in DVDs while he and Marth are trapped in the 1960's.
Episode 11-Utopia
In the very distant future, the Doctor and Martha meets the "future kind" and Capt. Jack returns. Prof. Yana helps send the rest of humanity to Utopia in a rocket. We learn that Prof. Yana is the Doctor's arch nemsis, The Master. First story of the ending season three parter.
Episode 12-Sound of Drums
The Master comes to Earth as Mr. Saxon. Can the Doctor stop him in time?
Episode 13-Last of The Timelords
The whole season story archs ties up, Martha saves the day but yet leaves the series at the end. The Doctor is alone again.
This concludes my brief review for the whole season. Enjoy.

Another Excellent Doctor Who Series
Created: 09/02/08
David Tennant returns for series 3 and doesn't miss a beat! Great stories, well directed, state-of-the-art special effects makes this the best season of Doctor Who yet. Well worth buying for any Doctor Who fan, young or old. Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones makes a suitable companion for the Doctor and an equal (if not better) replacement to Rose. Then with the return of the Doctor's arch rival- The Master, things heat up for the final three episodes of the season. Even if you are just a casual Doctor Who fan, this set is a must for your DVD collection.

Review: Doctor Who Series 3
Created: 03/12/07
This is an excellent set of DVD's and will probably be enjoyed by all fan's of the Doctor. David Tenant establishes himself as one of the best regenerations of greatest sci-fi hero of all time. Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones is great. If you love Doctor Who, you will love the special features and the "confidential" dvd - which shows how a lot of the special effects were made and gives insight into production.
Some of the best story lines. The Master is back! The only criticism is that most of the stories center around (and happen on) earth - it seems they have gone to more of a time travel aspect than "time and relative dimensions in space". WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Doctor Who- The Complete Third Series
Created: 05/04/11
AMAZING! This series continues to follow David Tennent as the 10th incarnation of the protagonist of the BBC sci-fi series "Doctor Who". The Doctor is a centuries-old alien humanoid of sorts from the planet called Gallifrey. He travel through time and space and parallel worlds in his spaceship called the TARDIS, most often with his "companions". The companions tend to be young, attractive women who help move the narrative along from a more humanistic point of view. Because the Doctor is a "man of different faces", he can regenerate his body whenever he is injured or close to death. This leads to different personalities, (and different women as well). In this series, actress Freema Agyeman portrays medical student, Martha Jones. Together they face off in unimaginable quests and the return of some old friends,... And I mean REALLY old.

Doctor Who

I am a huge who fan (even been called a whovian sometimes) It's a great series to watch, a lot of action syfy and so many other things even a bit of romance as well Series three with martha as the companion is fantastic! I especially love that Capt. Jack makes an appearance for a few episodes towards the end. Great story line (especially family of blood episodes) I love how the end of this series is able to tie into the rest of David Tenants career as the doctor. It is a must see
