Dog's Life (Sony PlayStation 2, 2004)

Dog's Life on the PS2 is a great game for the youngster that you don't want playing the shoot em up games we see so much of today. You can either go along with the story or roam free living a dogs life. Different scents lead to some side games and collecting bones will keep you busy also! One downfall of this game is that it's fairly hard to find and demands a premium on the open market.

A Dogs Life is a fun and unique game that is rather hard to find now. The game allows players to become different dogs and complete different tasks. Players get to explore the town of Clarksville, the country, a ski resort and the big city to try to find another missing dog. There is a little crude humor, but if you own a real dog you're used to it. This may be more suited to 10 and ups and not your younger ones. The game takes several days to complete so you won't tire of it easily and there is a level of difficulty that makes parts of the game quite challenging. If you can find the game, it's worth it.

My son wanted this game for his birthday. He asked for it for 2 months straight before his birthday. The game is all he talked about. You cannot find this game in stores. My husband looked at every game store for 3 towns wide and found nothing. I shop on Ebay for everything because I know I can always find what I am looking for. This game is a good clean game for my 10 year old to play. He loves animals and this game is perfect for him.

My children have been wanting this game since they played it in the store a year ago. Unfortunately it was too expensive. I finally found it on ebay for cheap. So I purchased it for the kids. I have played it a couple of times, seems pretty good for the kids, they enjoy it.

I like that you can roam around the huge enviroments, and that you can be different types of dogs. I don't like that you are timed when you are a different kind of dog. I decided to buy it because it's about a dog named Jake who is looking for his friend, and it's an adventure game.
