) This game has all you like from the original, save for bigger textures to accomodate for the GBA's screen and power, green blood to replace the original red, and no quick change weapon buttons (because the GBA doesn't have near enough face buttons), this version is the closest to the PC version of Doom 2 as any.
I consider Doom II to be the best in the Doom Series, with the best levels and weapon and enemy variety of all.
I would highly reccommend this version to anyone who wants to play it on the go.

) What do I love about this game? See the "Review title" description! DOOM II is one of the "must have" titles for the GBA. If you have ever played a DOOM game, you have played this game, but it is still a lot of fun!
Doom II = Best GBA game available

For a Game Boy game, Doom 2 is really amazing. It stays almost completely faithful to the PC version, with the same enemies, sounds, music, etc. The only changes were made to some of the larger maps, which were split into two parts, and the change of the blood color from red to green. Overall, the game does not suffer from being ported to the GBA. This game is the reason I originally bought a GBA. The novelty of taking classic Doom 2 anywhere with me was just too much to pass up. You'll be impressed.

I gotta tell ya' they did a pretty good job of putting Doom 2 on GBA. It looks better than the first Doom on GBA and you get the "super shotgun"! It's DOOM, 'nuff said.
