The Third Round!
Created: 03/11/08
The famous series comes back for a third game. Most say this is the best yet,and I would have to agree. I would also say that if you know of the DB,DBZ and GT series..then this is the game for you. If your a fan of fighting games,it's also worth the money to get.
Everything about the game is done well, even the English voice actors from the series return for the characters here in the game. There are special moves, secret moves and stage special attacks that your fighter can do against the opponent.
When 2 skilled players are at each other, the game can really show it's good features. It's also a game that will have you playing for a long time, with a lot of things to unlock..it has a high replay value.

DBZ Budokai 3 and what I say
Created: 22/01/09
This is another one of the action packed explosive filled games that bring the characters of Dragonball/Z/GT to an fun interactive setting. The dragon universe is a massive improvement upon the ones employed in Budokai 1 and 2, and the character selection and battle system as well as move selection, set the very foundation for the now popular Tenkaichi strain of this game series. Having played them all, I actually rate this one as a cut above all the others, and love logging the time to get all the capsules/techniques so that my younger siblings and I may lay waste to each other in a competitive interactive fit of multi-player computer carnage. If you are a DBZ fan and don't want to break your bank getting a third generation system. This is the game I would recommend for you, without a second of hesitation.--Look out in that second kid buu will be behind you starting a warp Kamehameha

Greatest game ever
Created: 02/02/11
DBZ Budokai 3 is still one of the best DBZ fighting games of all time. It has elements that many of the current DBZ games lack. To me DBZ Budokai 3 is the gold standard for successful Dragonball games.
Graphics/Animation:
The graphics of this game is really good. It isn't as great of the newer games; however it gets the good done. The animation is smooth and teh controls are very responsive.
Story:
The story pretty much follows the story of the anime with a little twist. You can fly around to different locations to activate fight missions and search for dragon balls before you fight by using a dragon radar. Pretty straight forward if you already know the show. You have to play the story mode in order to unlock character specific special moves, ultimate attacks, and support capsules

Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 (PlayStation 2)
Created: 12/01/11
Though based on the mechanics of the first two games, the fighting itself has been enhanced, with new interactive arenas, defensive maneuvers, ki attacks, and the opportunity to develop a favorite character into an extremely powerful brawler by playing through the RPG-style series of battles. As players customize a character, they'll receive passwords based on the fighter's current state. These passwords can be traded over the Internet, effectively allowing gamers to export their custom-developed characters and import characters developed by other Budokai 3 players.

Best battle game for DBZ
| Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I have been a Dragonball Z Fan for at least 15 years now on, I always wanted to see a battle game and until a few years back i was able to see on the PS2 the new games, from all of the different ones the one that I most liked is this one, best graphics, combo modes and story lines, I dont like Tenkaichi, but still I have played it.
I am interested on getting the DBZ BurstLimit, but still I am not up to wasting money, I have a couple of Games pending on my list, still if you are looking for a cheap game, go for this one, from the 3 out there this one is the best, and compared to the Tenkaichi Familiy, this one has better game mode for 2 and it resembles a lot the original fighting games we are used to, good luck on buying DBZ games.
