Product description

Product Information
Known as Dragon Ball Z Sparking! in Japan and developed by the Fire Pro team at Spike, Tenkaichi aims to take everything that made the first three Budokai titles so popular and improve on them in every way. Rather than focus on a particular saga as the previous games did, Tenkaichi retells almost the entire DBZ story from scratch. Beginning with the arrival of Raditz in the Saiyan Saga and ending with the Goku's last journey in the Kid Buu episodes, Budokai should now hit every major plot point in the series' history. The game features a lineup of more than 60 other combatants -- the most ever in any Dragon Ball Z game -- including the entire Ginyu Force (including Guldo), all the Androids, all the Saiyans, every bad guy, and plenty of other surprises (giant monkey) will join up returning favorites like Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, Frieza, and Ginyu so that you can recreate all your favorite battles.

There is some truth in the reviews

There is some truth in each the reviews. Like the part where they say that the controls are hard to do well that part true but it can become ez after time pasts it took me 3 hours gust to get the basic moves and another 2 hours to learn how to use the other movies like dash and fast movies ki attack and started to master them but i'm still havnt mastered i'm still learning how to disappear and reappear but when you learn how to use it it's fun The best thing to do for this game is to rent it frist see if you like it cause it realy dose take alot of time to learn how to use the control and able to beating guys on the story mode they start out ez but there still hard if you dont know how to use the attack or moves but once you learn the moves this game is the bomb gust take time remeber >>>>>>>&gt;>>>>>>>>>my best advise i could say for this Review is to rent the game frist it will save you money so you'll know if you'll like it or not this game is no longer close the the past game that you gust have to push foward to move and attack there alot more buttons involed.<<<<<&lt;<<<<<<<<<<<<<<&lt;<<<<<<< Trust me renting it frist is best that what i did i like the game and i'm going to buy it and trust me this game is pretty long i coouldnt beat it in a few hours like the past dbz games i havnt even got past the andriod saga yet i still got the movies and the rest of the sagas.

Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi (Playstation 2)

This is a good game overall. It's has fast pace action and an adventure mode but a lot of the characters are hard to get. The downside is the controls are somewhat stiff; I still like the attempt to make the game intense like the anime series. In the end I recommend this game to people who enjoy DBZ and a good fighting game.

A good game.

It`s agreat game and all, you get to blow up things at your command, fly when you wish , it has a great story mode but once you get every one theirs not much to do and its kinda hard to get use to and its really hard to beat certain things even raditz at first and you can`t change forms in the middle of the battle and some attacks are almost impossible to avoid and theirs not a very good chance you can hit them with one spacific combo or attack. You still get to use everyone from all the other budokais but uh.... its just not so good after you beat it.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi (Playstation 2)

Created: 10/10/06
This is a really cool game to play! I like it because there are 57 characters and you can be any one of them. You can challenge friends and play up to eight players. Enter a world tournoment to see if you have what it takes to be the champion. You can battle on land, in the water, or even the air. You can fly freely. You can customize characters in battle mode. The graphics are really good and if you shoot an energy beam, you can blow up a mountain to pieces. One thing that sucked was that when you are a bigger character like Broly, you tend to move slower and you can't dodge big energy attacks like you would with a smaller guy. You can ajust the controls to your personal settings. This is the best game ever!

Great Game

Created: 03/11/05
This is a really great game. The controls are not nearly as bad as everyone says, and I feel that they are better than the other dragonball z games. The single player is very tough but fun, and the characters you can get or make (like SS4 Gogeta, Super Sayin Super Trunks, SS4 Vegeta) are freggin' kick ass. The charging is done really well, along with with the use of the finishing moves. Highly Recommended
