) Well I bought the game not too long ago expecting excellence and was disappointed for not getting it. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun game, I just wasnt really excited about it. It HAS grown on me though. Dont expect a great transition from the actual D&D to this game.
I use the following system:
Exceptional - Nothing can be improved about this aspect.
Good - Exceeds standards yet has some room for improvement.
Average - Meets the standards of the time, yet fails to impress.
Poor - Below-standards, suffers from terrible quality.
GAME-PLAY: It's a pretty good RPG game for RPG lovers. The sega was well known for the variety of RPG's that all rocked. This one was pretty good. It doesnt give you a whole lot of races to choose from, but the reroll ability is pretty good. Kind of hard at the beginning and lvling up is pretty tough. It gets a GOOD
GRAPHICS: Tell me one game that just WOWS you by todays standards. It fit the times and of course there's no way it will ever be improved. It gets a GOOD
SOUND: The music varies from the area you are roaming which is pretty cool. Could use some more variety to prevent being annoyed after a while. AVERAGE
REPLAY-ABILITY: Just like any other RPG you can just play this for months without boredom. GOOD
All in all I guess the fact that it's an RPG boosted it from AVERAGE to GOOD. I hope you enjoy the game and that the review helped you make a decision.

i used to play this game alot when i was younger. back when the genesis was the hottest thing around. its good to get to play it again. although the only problem i had with it was the internal battery was dead so i couldn't save my game but after a few minutes of soldering and a little bit of patience i quickly remedied the problem thank you again for keeping such a priceless game even after the market for it is next to zero
