From Dusk Till Dawn (DVD, 1998, Widescreen)

What some people did not like about this movie is what I find brilliant. The film starts as a heist and then turns into a horror movie halfway through. Taken separately they both work. Funny and smart with enough violence to keep everyone happy.

Tarantino wrote the screenplay and Robert Rodriguez directed - now, people may know Rodriguez from Spy Kids and Desperado but I hope true film fans know he wrote and directed the excellent (and wonderfully low-budget) El Mariachi. if you did not know this, then go rent it - it is SO worth it!

Back to Dusk Till Dawn - the cast is excellent. Tarantino, Clooney, Keitel, Juliette Lewis, Cheech Marin, salma Hayek, Danny Trejo, Fred Williamson, Kelly Preston, Michael Parks and...wait for it...TOM SAVINI as Sex Machine!

The special effect are a little cheesy or maybe after watching this movie countless times I notice it more than most. But it is a fun movie, fast paced and with great dialogue.

Get the 2 disc special edition! That one has Ful-Tilt Boogie as the second disc. It is a documentary about the production etc.

Love this movie! always been a favorite! About 2 brothers that are on the run, killing things left and right; have to meet up with his boss for money in Mexico and decide to steal an Rv. Well to do so, they have to kidnap a family so they don't get caught at the border. The family takes them to a strip club where they are meeting the boss and waits for him. It looks like a great club, but when dark hits, things change. The rest of the movie they are trying to survive until morning. Great Movie!! Highly Recommend! 5 *****

One of my favorite movies growing up.

Clooney, Tarantino, Keitel, Lewis, and Cheech Marin are superb in this Vampire massacre movie.

One of my favorite Vampire films ever made. The only downside to this film is that it spawned 2 unimpressive sequels.

This is one of the best vampire movies ever made! Of course it is a Quentin Taritino movie which makes it even better! Along with Harvey Kietel and Juliette Lewis, and George Clooney, Quentin brings vampire movies to a whole other level!!!

I love this movie. It starts off like a sick f'd up Quentin Tarantino flick then just goes whacko with vampires and craziness. And Cheech is in it! It's hilarious, twisted, disgusting, sexy, everything.
