Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires (Xbox 360, 2009)

bad news first, DW6E had plenty of "not so smart" design choices, some of which can be quite annoying, such as if you are a ruler, regardless of how much land you own, the maximum number of officers in your command is always some number below 20. and it is difficult to acquire the desired officers into your forces, there is no direct way actually, it mostly depends on random luck. and in a battle, while the maximum number of officers for each side is 8, you can only bring 4 uniques and the rest has to be generic officer, although that could be due to limitations in the game's engine. combined, these flaws means its nearly impossible to build up an army to your liking, and you often need to compromise. that said, the rest of the game is pretty solid. the create a warrior mode is quite robust in terms of outfits, but the face options are quite limited, so most of them will end up looking similar to some degree. the game's soundtrack includes many from old DW games, not all of them though, a few of my personal favorites are sadly missing. gameplay is like all Dynasty Warriors games, mindlessly fun. the new mercenary missions adds some diversity, and they can be a cakewalk or quite challenging depending on how many of the bonus objectives you wish to complete. overalll i liked this game, and if you are a hardcore fan of the series like me, you will enjoy this game too.

Better than i expected. Loved the Character creation and the fact you can become Ruler with your created guy. Can Bring along another created guy to join your force.
The officer Mode is also pretty fun.

I enjoyed this game, but if you're buying a Dynasty Warriors game you likely already know what you're getting. Dynasty warriors is about killing/K.O.ing hoards of people with your single character;to that end this game accomplishes that well, with good graphics. Features that differ from other Dynasty Warriors I've played: The ability to swim, jump up mountains, get married, become blood brothers, and the addition of "training". It also has a create your own character feature, and is 1-2 players(co-op). Overall, it is an excellent game of the Dynasty Warriors type.

This game is a great adventure and stragey game. It has enless hours of fun it is easy to lose track of time. I bought it and started playing right away at 8 in the evening and before I There are some flaws tough like the story line can be improve and the missions seem to all be simular. Neverless if you get this game it will be countless hours of fun.

This game is so much fun, even the wife will love playing it with you, especially when she levels up way faster than you and beats way more officers. But anyway, I'd recommend this game to anyone. Don't get discouraged if you're not that good right away. Once you start leveling up and buying more skills you will be crazy powerful. Enjoy.
