Dyson DC35 Handheld Cleaner

I can't say a whole lot, because both of the Dyson DC35 I purchased were for Christmas presents. One for my mom, and one for my mother in law. They both said them LOVE them, Light, Powerful cleaning machine. We have the Animal, and we love it, but it's a little heavy, hard to carry up and down stairs. And who likes carring the cord around, so this light weight cordless one is definately on our to BUY list.

I have had a Dyson Animal DC17 for about 5 years that I absolutely love! I bought the DC35 for in between cleaning and am somewhat disappointed. I have 2 cats, 2 dogs and need something that will pick up hair. This vacuum works great on bare floors, but not so great on carpets, which I have a lot of. The roller gets clogged up with hair quickly.
I love the Dyson company and they have excellent customer service! Just not real happy with this little vacuum.

The DC-35 is the best thing since sliced bread. I have a house cat and a house Rabbit and the Rabbit fur is white and no other floor cleaning machine has ever cleaned the floors like the DC-35. After the cleaning service cleans my home I still get the DC-35 off of the wall and you can see white fur in the canister and the cleaning service uses a expensive commercial Hoover vacumn. I would NOT be without the Dyson DC-35 the best ever at any cost

This little vaccuum is so awesome! I have had it for a week and have used it daily. The factory getting started paperwork takes a little work to figure out but it is pretty simple if you just use common sense. It charges in no time and I find that 15 minutes is plenty of time to vaccuum. It doesn't 'eat' my runner rugs in the bathroom, bedroom, foyer like my old cleaner, but gets all the lint, dirt, etc off easily. I love the ability to clean the roller so easy. I have long hair and even when you can't see it on the floor, it clogs any brush attachment, but this one is so easy to clean, I take it off each time I empty the waste and clean it off for the next time. Emptying is also literally a snap! It takes a few minutes to get a push and pull motion for yourself, but then it's just the greatest. Changing heads is quick and easy too! I just love it - no negatives so far for me!

MY only complaint re Dyson is that they do not let the buyer know that the battery time is only 15 mins. maximum on low power. Had I known this I would not have purchased the item.
It is very powerful for that short time so if you are a speed demon, it is ok for you. I am impressed with the motorized rug cleaner. The storage dock is great.
