SynopsisTaking its title from the Beatles' 1966 masterpiece REVOLVER's "Here, There and Everywhere," EACH ONE BELIEVING is a fan's guide to the behind-the-scenes workings of a Paul McCartney tour. BELIEVING starts with the suitably awestruck reactions of the musicians on being asked to play with the ex-Beatle, and goes on to document the laborious logistical preparations involved in realizing a project of this magnitude, including rehearsals, staging, and preparation of vegetarian meals for the entire operation. (McCartney's instructions: "Nothing with a face.") It also covers the intersection between pop and world events--the first live outing for this particular lineup is a 2001 Madison Square Garden benefit concert for the victims of 9/11--and the efforts involved in translating ostensibly simple plans (such as McCartney's desire to play "Back in the U.S.S.R." in Moscow's Red Square) into complex reality. The entire process, including, of course, triumphant shows at some of the world's most famous landmarks, is admirably documented by the photography of Bill Bernstein, by turns candid and glossily professional, and depicted with commentary from both band and crew in prose that falls somewhere between rapturous and adulatory.

Industry Reviews"This sumptuous coffee-table--size book...is distinguished both by more than 100 vibrant photos (most in full color)....The primary attraction, though, is McCartney's words, which range from sentimental to playful and reveal a man as happy with his work and life as his many fans will be with this clean-cut, jolly book."Publishers Weekly (11/15/2004)eBay Product ID: EPID30768070
