More Fun Than You Might Expect.

    Created: 22/02/07
Elebits are cute little creatures of the future that supply power needed to run ordinary objects. In this game, the Elebits have gotten loose and it's your job to round them up. Your tool is a ray gun that can move objects as well as capture the little Elebit creatures. Throughout the game you'll wander through the different rooms in a house or through the streets of the town searching for the Elebits which are basically everywhere and anywhere (There's hundreds of them in each level). While you are busy searching for the Elebits, you'll use your ray gun to overturn every object in sight, basically making a total mess of everywhere you go. Half the fun of the game is creating a disaster zone and tossing random objects all over the place. The other half is hunting down and capturing the Elebit creatures. The controls are simple. You'll use the nunchuck joystick to move around and the remote to look, point, and shoot. It's a simple game and the cute animation is great for the younger generation. Don't be fooled by the simplicity though. Gamers of all ages are bound to become addicted to the hide and seek play in Elebits. Make sure you give this one a shot.

Elebits for Wii, a sleeper hit that you shouldn't pass!

    Created: 02/06/07
Elebits missed being a launch title by 23 days. I enjoyed it after a rental but didn't purchase it for some time. I still had Zelda Twilight Princess to complete, and then I began discovering some gamecube titles that I had passed up on, particularly Resident Evil 4.

Lets not kid anyone, as of right now in June, the Wii line up is not too impressive. Its littered with ports and rushed games. However, if you're looking for a quality title that takes a unique approach to the Wii, look no further than Elebits. Elebits is essentially a first person shooter; however, unlike other fps's, its staple is its physics system. In Elebits you have an "anti gravity gun" which you can use to move objects (everything from furniture to entire buildings) to find and capture your Elebits. The more you capture the more powerful your gun, and the more items you can interact with. Its a lot of fun, and it feels really good. There are various puzzles that you might have to solve and various movements you must do with the Wii remote to solve them. The graphics are simple, but good. The theme is cute, but don't let that scare you off, you can look past it to find a really fun game. Once you complete the main story mode you can unlock different challanges in the stages, and also different multiplayer modes. You can create chaos with up to four players.

Elebits is original, and fun, and it should hold you over until Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Mario Strikers Charged, or Metroid comes out. Cheers.

    A Great Game

    Created: 09/10/07
Elebits comes packed with personality, game options, and a solid core gameplay.
    *** Presentation ***
All the menus are excellent and intuitive. You can use the pointer based controls for everything. There is a very clean and intuitive menu system to access your game, game modes, tutorial, extras, videos, etc and everything has that consistent theme. The idle title screen cinematic is a very high quality full CGI cinematic and the end credits have good soundtrack and presentation as well. The story mode cinematics are beautiful oil-painting type cinematics with subtitled voice dialog that gets the story accross but has bad voice acting.

The most loading the game has is in the starting tutorial when it goes between tutorials. The loading for each story mission/mode etc are not too much and once a level is already loaded there is no more loading even if you decide to retry for whatever reason.

    *** Graphics ***
    480p and widescreen support.

A lot of people will say the graphics are meh but the physics make up for it so I will write a little about the physics

    *** Physics ***
Our ability to toss an object about is relative to the power of our capture gun. If we are at a low level and can pick up a truck... if we get higher or pick up some strength boosting item than you may be strong enough to all of a sudden throw a huge truck to the moon. If you toss a huge truck into a bunch of other stuff then its momentum will have it causing a chain reaction of smashing stuff for as long as it can keep going.

    Elebits for Wii

    Created: 21/02/09
Elebits for the Wii system is Konami's attempt at a strategy game for children. Game made for children 7+.
    ---------------------------------------------------
This is a good attempt at a new concept for a game, yet falls short on replay value and fun factor from the repetitious play. The controls are amazing, with Konami using all twisting/button functions flawlessly, and the game itself plays like a first person shooter without the shooting/blood.

The player plays as a small boy who hates Elebits because his parents are scientists and neglect him as such. A huge power outage occurs and the boy (player) blames the Elebits as they make the world's electricity. So he grabs his Father's grapple gun and ... game starts.

The game has a story mode, versus, extra games and more included. The game is basically absorbing the Elebits until you have enough watts to turn on electronic devices which then make Electrical Elebits which increase your grappler gun strength to lift heavier objects. The levels are timed to absorb enough watts. Basically you destroy and shake/toss every piece of furniture looking for the Elebits.

Elebits is a great design and concept game-- a good buy for under $10 bucks. Falls short of Konami-kid's games like DEWEY'S ADVENTURE... but pick it up if it is under 10 bucks for your children.

    Enjoy,
    HappyMofo
